Betty: Sanctuary

 Sanctuary is a track from Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" album.  Mr. Davis got the idea for the title from his then wife, Betty. During this period of Mr. Davis' professional life, Betty was a huge influence on him, musically and fashion-wise. As Mr. Davis was a musical trend setter and a fashion lover, I think it is safe to say that eventually he would have left his tailored suits for the groovy threads of that era.  I highly recommend you read the Quincy Troupe autobiography on Miles Davis. When I met Quincy Troupe, he not only told me that I did a very good Miles Davis impersonation but Mr. Troupe freely gave me information about Miles and Betty. Needless to say, I was fascinated then and I am still fascinated.

The goal was to make it look like paper. I am in love with all thing floral.
